In between specific photography jaunts, I have always photographed around the environs of my hometown in western Massachusetts.  These photographs from various small towns in New England, including other places such as Ontario, Canada and West Seattle, cover a period of about twenty-five years (1983-2008).  Nearer to home, I often rode my bicycle with my camera in the bicycle basket.  It was always a good way to meet people.  Trudy in “Trudy in Annie’s Sunflower Maze- 2000” was someone I met while riding my bicycle in my neighborhood. I first saw Trudy in her yard chasing after her cat. We became friends for many years.
